" I ran a Steppa aground at 35 knots and the tide was running out. We got the guests off and sat on the reef all night as the tide came back in. The waves bashed and bashed the hull onto the reef for 2 hours. I thought for sure the boat would have a hole in it - but when we looked at it the next day - there were only deep scratches on the hull!".

" I reckon the STEPPA is actually the best boat in the Amancruises entire fleet. It is not the prettiest, but it can do everything in this area. It can carry 15 divers to the Similans, can go into the shallow Boat Lagoon Channel at low tide, can back right up to the beach like a long-tail, carry 24 people and can run cruising long-range at well over 30 knots. It has an open guest area up-front, an internal dry area, stand-up electric toilet, lots of storage and a covered flybridge. No other boat in our fleet can do all of this. Guests love it and we rent it most days for US$1,500++ per day".
